Where to buy Railborn
Railborn will be sold on its Steam store page. It is not purchasable yet; wishlisting it is the official way to be notified at launch. Steam store availability can vary by region, so check the page from your own region for the definitive answer.
Will Railborn come to consoles?
Washbear Studio has not announced any Xbox, PlayStation or Switch version. If that changes, this page and the news page will be updated with the source and date.
When will the price be known?
Indie developers typically announce an Early Access price close to launch. That has not happened yet for Railborn, so any price you see today is speculation.
What about other stores or DRM-free versions?
Steam is the only announced store. No GOG, Epic Games Store or direct DRM-free release has been announced.
Who publishes Railborn?
Washbear Studio is listed as both developer and publisher on the Steam page, so the studio is handling its own release. There is no external publisher whose store decisions (for example, bringing the game to a second storefront) could be announced separately.
Is there a free demo?
Yes, a public demo is planned for Oct-Nov 2026 as part of the official roadmap. The stated plan is to rotate: live for about a week, then down to iterate. What the demo covers has not been announced. Demo windows are the only confirmed way to play for free before Early Access. Status and launch tracking live on the demo status page.
Will Railborn be on Game Pass or PlayStation Plus?
No subscription service inclusion has been announced. Any Game Pass, PlayStation Plus or similar deal would be big news for a game this size, and it would be dated and sourced on the news page the day it happens.
Can I preorder Railborn?
No. The Steam page currently offers a wishlist button and no purchase option, and no preorder has been announced. Preorders, if they ever happen, would appear on the store page first; this page and the news page would follow the same day.
Will my PC run it?
Full official system requirements have not been published yet. The system requirements page tracks what is known and how to check your machine against the eventual listing.
